Oman Air will launch services to three exciting destinations this spring. The national carrier of the Sultanate of Oman will fly from Muscat to Singapore and Goafrom the 29th of March and to Dhaka as from August 2015.

The Chief Executive of Oman Air, Paul Gregorowitsch announced the new routes, saying:

"We are delighted to be opening up new routes toSingapore, Goa and Dhaka, and to be offering our customers even more choice within Oman Air's continually expanding network. We know there is strong demand for flights to each of these destinations. We are therefore very confident that the new services will prove extremely popular and I would encourage customers to book as early as possible.

"The launch of these new services continues our ambitious programme of expansion and follows the highly successful December 2014 introduction to our network of services to Manila and Jakarta.

"We look forward to giving many thousands more air travellers the opportunity to fly with Oman Air aboard our outstanding new aircraft."

The city-state of Singapore lies off the southern tip of the Malay Peninsula, just 137km north of the equator. Long recognised as one of the great global financial and commercial hubs, Singapore also offers leisure travellers a wealth of attractions and activities. These range from some of world's finest hotels and a vast array of restaurants, to nature reserves, historical buildings and Buddhist temples. Oman Air's new Airbus A330 service between Muscat to Singapore will operate daily and tickets can be booked now from OMR 233.8 return per person, including taxes and charges.

Overlooking the Arabian Sea on the western coast of India, Goa's unspoiled beaches, temples, mosques and wildlife sanctuaries, together with its Portugese-influenced Indian culture entwine to offer travellers a unique experience. Oman Air's new service, operated using spacious and comfortable Boeing 737 aircraft, will offer four flights per week between Muscat International Airport and Goa International Airport. Tickets are available for purchase andcan be booked now from OMR 161.3 return per person, including taxes and charges.

Dhaka is the capital of Bangladesh and, with more than 15 million inhabitants is country's most populous city. It constitutes the political, cultural and scientific heart of the nation, and plays a central role in the Bangladeshi economy, alongside the port city of Chittagong, to which Oman Air also flies. Oman Air's new service, operated using its flagship A330 aircraft, will offer four flights per week between Muscat International Airport and Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport. Tickets are available for purchase and can be booked now from OMR 186.9 return per person, including taxes and charges.

A partnership with Turkish Airlines allows passengers to book with either airline to fly between Muscat and Istanbul, with the flights being operated by Turkish Airlines. A further codeshare agreement with Sri Lankan Airlines offers Oman Air's customers the opportunity to book seats on SriLankan Airline's services from Muscat to Singapore, Male, and China via Colombo. In turn, Sri Lankan Airlines' customers are able to book onto Oman Air's flights from Colombo to Zurich via the Omani Capital of Muscat. Oman Air also has a codeshare partnership with Malaysian Airlines.

By December 2014, Oman Air fleet will consist of ten Airbus A330-200/300s, 20 Boeing 737-700s/800s/900s, four Embraer E175s and two ATR 42s. Six Boeing 787 Dreamliners are on order for delivery from 2015.

Six more Boeing 737-800s and four 737-900ERs will be added to the fleet from 2015. By 2016, Oman Air's total fleet size is expected to be around 50 aircraft.

Oman Air's outstanding aircraft interiors include its First Class Mini Suite, which provides each of the six First Class passengers with direct aisle access and converts to the longest lie-flat seat in the skies. The A330's 20 award-winning Business Class seats each provide direct aisle access, ample storage space and the latest technological amenities.
