Dhahran, As part of its efforts to transform its libraries into digital libraries, King Fahad University for Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) chose the Horizon library automation system for its network of libraries, in a deal signed recently with Arabian Advanced Systems - the leading library and information solution provider - which will implement the Horizon library automation systems through out KFUPM libraries.

The decision to go with Horizon was made after extensive research and evaluation conducted by KFUPM, which studied many alternatives to their current system, and decided that Horizon was best suited to meet their needs and requirements. Mr. A.
