DOHA : As part of its ongoing work to support business success across Qatar, Qtel yesterday announced the major revamp of its 800 Toll Free service during the "Business Connect" seminar hosted
by ictQATAR.
The Toll Free service enables companies to offer their customers a free-of-charge number to call them on, which is ideal for helplines or sales lines. Research shows that companies that offer these Toll Free numbers encourage more interaction with customers, improve the customer experience and enhance long-term customer loyalty.
With a huge number of hotels and new businesses set for development in Qatar in the coming years, Qtel has decided to fully revamp its Toll Free service, both to support these new incoming businesses, and to help existing companies compete more effectively.
As part of the revamp process, monthly rental rates have been cut by up to a massive 80 percent, while call rates have also been reduced by up to 50 percent. The price reductions are available to new and existing 800 Toll Free customers. Additionally, customers have the choice between "Silver," "Gold" and "Royal" Easy to Remember Numbers for their Toll Free line. These offer memorable number combinations so that customers can easily reach the companies they want.
All Qtel Toll Free clients will be provided with a "Silver" Toll Free number as part of the service. For a one-off fee, they will be able to upgrade to the "Gold" and "Royal" premium services, which truly enable companies to stand out in the market.
The monthly rental fee has dropped to QR300 a month -- an 80 percent reduction for companies that have selected the Royal Package. At the same time the call rate (paid for by the company, so that customers can dial for free) has been reduced to QR0.20 per minute from Qtel fixed line phones, a significant 50 percent reduction. For existing customers, the changes have been made automatically, and will be reflected on the next Qtel bill.
