Amman - A training course on various editing and journalistic styles kicked off on Saturday at the Jordan News Agency (Petra) Training Centre.
The Zain-sponsored course is being held in cooperation with the International News Editing (INE), an international agency specializing in providing services for news agencies.
Participants in the three-day course, conducted under the supervision of Robert Besser of the INE, will focus on feature stories and modern techniques in writing and editing news stories.
They will also discuss samples of local, Arab and international news and ways to write and edit these in accordance with the latest journalistic approaches.
