Yemen and France discussed on Tuesday possibilities of cooperation between the two countries in field of training and rehabilitating agriculture and veterinary institutions.
 
At their meeting, the minister of technical education and vocational training Alawi ba-Faqih along with food security experts of the French project at the agricultural institutes Philippe Quiniou discussed the ongoing arrangements to start implementing the French project's new phase in all institutes of the ministry.
 
They affirmed the importance of making the project succeed which aims to train teacers and develop these institutes' curricula as well as offering the overall facilities for the French experts in order to carry out the project's components which is to be commenced during the current month and will last untill the beginning of 2011.

The French expert gave a brief explanation on the project's components and work mechanism and the projects planned to be carried out, in addition to possibilities of sending trainers to France to benefit from the French experience in this field.
 
He also affirmed his country's keenness to enhance cooperation with Yemen in this regard through expanding the project's components which was launched in 2005. It also targets two agriculture institutes to include in the coming new stage all agriculture and veterinary institutes in Yemen.
