German Chancellor Olaf Scholz sees talks on the country's budget as very far advanced and many questions have been cleared up, said a German government spokesperson on Monday.
"Many questions have been clarified in a very good and confidential dialogue, which of course was not easy due to the size of the task. But that is why we are all confident and any optimism is justified," added the spokesperson.
