The toll from a Russian strike on the Ukrainian city of Chernigiv has risen to eight dead and 18 wounded, the mayor announced Wednesday.
"There are eight dead and 18 injured as a result of the Russian missile strikes on Chernigiv. The search and rescue operation continues," mayor Oleksandr Lomako said on social media.
