India's federal government agrees with the central bank's projection of 7% growth in the fiscal year to March 2024, the economic affairs secretary said on Friday, adding that the RBI's upward revision of the growth estimate was "well placed".

The Reserve Bank of India said on Friday it expects the economy to expand 7% in the current fiscal year, up from the previous forecast of 6.5%, after stronger-than-expected growth in the July-September quarter.
