74 countries. 1155 teams. 3600+ Competitors. A team of four students from the GCC and India have advanced to the Tiger Global Case Competition (TGCC) Global Finals after taking out First Place in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Russia, & Central Asia Regional Qualifying Round! With this achievement, the team known as "Tech N' Tigers'' has earned the invitation to represent Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Russia, & Central Asia in the 2021 Global Finals next weekend.  These 12 Global Finalist teams represent the top 1.5% of the world’s largest global, virtual case competition for high school students. 8 out of the 10 Regional Finalist teams were comprised of students in the United Arab Emirates, making the UAE the highest performing country in the regional contest.

TGCC’s Principal Partner Tiger Global Management is joined by Global Partner M&G Investments, Official Sponsor PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), and is powered by the global education leader, Crimson Education.

The leading hedge fund investment firm, Tiger Global Management, supports this unique social equity initiative to help high school students develop industry-ready skills in consulting, entrepreneurship, finance, social enterprise, tech, and marketing. Typically reserved for university students, TGCC delivers the business case competition experience to high school students; 100% virtual, global, and run by students.

Students develop strong critical thinking, entrepreneurship, and consulting skills by working on real business challenges.

TGCC 2021 is focused on “Future of Mobility” based on equipping humans with technology that empowers societies to thrive. Thousands of students across the world participate in this annual event, strengthening both educational and professional expertise.

The 2021 Regional Qualifying Round featured the TGCC 2021 Renesas Electronics Case. Competitors were tasked as management consultants, to present to the board of Renesas Electronics, a Japanese semiconductor manufacturing company. In response to the challenge, Team ‘Tech N' Tigers’, whose members are split between the UAE, Oman and India, developed an innovative solution and presented live to a panel of expert judges, taking First Place in the TGCC 2021 Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Russia, & Central Asia Regional Qualifying Round.

This week the TGCC 2021 Global Finals kick off. The top 12 teams from across the world will take on a brand-new case and will only have 72 hours to crack the case and submit their final solutions. 24 hours later, every team will present live to a panel of industry experts including the CEO and CMO of the global case partner.

Up for grabs are an array of prizes that money can’t buy, such as: a remote internship at PwC for the entire winning team; mentorship session with Alex Robertson, President of Tiger Management Corp; mentorship sessi/on with young entrepreneur Jamie Beaton, Co-Founder and CEO of Crimson Education, mentorship session with Vikas Pershad, Portfolio Manager at M&G Investments; US$18,000+ worth of education consulting with Crimson Education; and US$4,000+ in cash prizes.

“Young people today have the potential to make a tremendous impact on our society - one that is more globalized than ever. In my opinion, it’s essential to support, encourage, and magnify this potential. The Tiger Global Case Competition is a rare opportunity for students to learn from industry experts at home and to work through unprecedented challenges facing businesses today, while practicing teamwork and problem-solving skills, further developing the young leaders of tomorrow.” — Julian Robertson, Philanthropist and Founder of hedge fund Tiger Management.

Co-Founder and CEO of Crimson Education, Jamie Beaton, was mentored by Roberson as Tiger Management’s youngest analyst while studying at Harvard University. In response to the TGCC, he says the competition will assist in developing future innovators and problem-solvers.

“We are thrilled to power the TGCC for the third year and provide high school students across the world with the unique opportunity to compete virtually with industry-best mentorship and the opportunity to win value-packed educational prizes. Many students are finding themselves unable to participate in physical events and more traditional extracurricular activities such as ModelUNs and Olympiads. We see this as a constructive way for them to invest their time while learning remotely.” - Jamie Beaton said.
