Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain, 13 May 2014: Gulf Air, Bahrain's national carrier, recently held a ceremony celebrating the successful graduation of three of the airline's Bahraini employees who attained the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) Level 5 Diploma in Management & Leadership.
Aimed at professionals wishing to pursue managerial and leadership roles, the CMI Level 5 Diploma places a strong emphasis on developing the skills needed to meet the various challenges of today's dynamic and competitive work environment.
Gulf Air Senior Business Analyst Enas Rustum and Gulf Air IT Project Managers Dina Hubeishi and Yasmin Shanaa, all members of Gulf Air's Information Technology Department, were recognized in a ceremony held by the airline's senior management.
"This is a great achievement for Enas, Dina and Yasmin and a reflection of their dedication to their ongoing training and development. On behalf of the entire airline, I congratulate them on this notable achievement and look forward to seeing their further growth and advancement within the national carrier's workforce," commented Gulf Air Acting Chief Executive Officer Mr. Maher Salman AlMusallam.
Gulf Air Director of Information Technology, Dr. Jassim Haji stated: "We are committed to ensuring our passengers experience enhanced service levels and having an IT team with recognized qualifications like these is vital in delivering on this commitment. We are very proud to see Gulf Air's female IT professionals attaining additional credentials in their field and we hope to see them and other IT employees follow their female colleagues' example in holding key IT leadership roles."
The CMI Level 5 Diploma in Management & Leadership has been designed to give practicing managers a solid foundation for formal development in their roles, building up a wide range of middle management skills and gaining the comprehensive leadership and management knowledge required at this level.
