ArabFinance: The Ministry of Manpower in Egypt announced that Kuwait’s authorities will exempt stranded doctors who went on vacation before the outbreak of COVID-19 from taking the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test, according to a July 6th statement.

All workers at the Kuwaiti health ministry and their families are allowed to travel on the exceptional flights from Egypt to Kuwait as of July 6th.

In addition, Egyptian expat doctors can return whether their permit is still valid or expired and without the need to register on the Ministry of Health in Kuwait’s Shlonik app, which assists to engage with all citizens and residents and ensure their safety with a focus on the COVID-19 pandemic.

Until press time, the GCC state registered a total of 50,644 infections, while Egypt reported a tally of 75,253.
