The bilateral trade between Abu Dhabi and Oman recorded AED 1.7 billion in the first five months of 2018, 54.5% up from the year-ago period.

Oman is one of the Abu Dhabi’s top trade partners in the GCC, the Statistics Centre Abu Dhabi (SCAD) said in a report, according to Emirates News Agency (WAM).

“Imports to Abu Dhabi from Oman reached around AED 1 billion in the first five months of the current year, compared to AED 456 million in the same period in 2017. The value of re-exports reached AED 113 million, while exports totalled AED 620 million,” WAM reported, citing SCAD.

SCAD also revealed that non-oil trade between Abu Dhabi and Oman registered AED 3 billion in 2017.
