Multiplying joys with the art of giving, Dabur International; the region’s leading brand in personal care products, has joined hands with the noble Emirates Red Crescent. During the holy month of Ramadan 2021, Emirates Red Crescent’s CSR initiative of distributing Iftar meals at labour camps in and around the UAE will be complemented by personal care products by Dabur International.

Reckoning the need for personal hygiene during COVID times, along with the definite Ramadan ritual of distributing food to the needy; Dabur International and Emirates Red Crescent decided to combine both the essentials in its CSR drive this year. As many as over 60,000 products have been carefully packed to include daily essentials like toothpaste, hair oils, soaps, body lotions, and more to be distributed each week.

Sharing details of the Ramadan CSR initiative this year Mr. Krishan Kumar Chutani, CEO Dabur International said; “The year gone by has given enough reasons to maintain personal hygiene especially during COVID times. But we need to acknowledge that not everyone may have access to it. The labour force in the UAE has contributed immensely to the development of this nation and it is only befitting that we care for their needs. We are happy to associate with Emirates Red Crescent and look forward to spreading smiles in the country’s labour camps this year during Ramadan.”

Appreciating Dabur International’s keenness in collaborating with them a representative at Emirates Red Crescent said; “We feel an additional boost when our humanitarian work to provide basic needs is enhanced by corporate giants like Dabur International. We sincerely appreciate the support provided by Dabur as they have realized that the need for hygiene is as basic as food and every human being should rightfully have the means to it.”

In all humility, Dabur International through this initiative wants to serve and payback to the community in the best possible way.
