The DipIFR qualification develops your knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) by providing an understanding of the underlying concepts and principles and their application in the business world. International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) are rapidly becoming the financial reporting language that defines the international marketplace. All 7,000 listed European Union companies adopted IFRS by 2005, in the United States, all US companies will be required to use IFRS by 2014, and IFRS standards are also being used by most Middle Eastern countries. Knowing IFRS means tapping into the standardized financial reporting approach of the future and being able to compete on a global level. Mr. Fawaz has more than 10 years of investment, advisory and audit experience at reputable regional and international firms and is currently Vice President of Investment Banking at Al-Khabeer Capital, a regional investment bank with over US$200 million of capital and offices across Jeddah, Riyadh and Bahrain. During his previous role at PwC, Mr. Fawaz organized and presented several training events in coordination with PwC (mainly focusing on IAS 27 and IAS 28, IAS 39, IFRS 7 and IAS standards). His expertise and insight will help candidates attain success and is further testimony to Morgan International's commitment to high-caliber training.
