Now you have the convenience and control to use data only when you want to, at just 2 fils/minute and a maximum speed of 1Mbps, this service is ideal for browsing, using social and messaging apps, video streaming and more. By dialing *555# prepaid users can start, stop and check their sessions. With greater savings, du customers are now in the driving seat when it comes to their data usage.

 

“For the first time, du is offering customers in the UAE data bundling on an on-demand basis. We have recognised that our consumers want more convenience and control when it comes to managing their data,” said Fahad Al Hasawi, Chief Commercial Officer, du.

“We wanted to offer more transparency to our customers and give them more control over their data usage. Introducing a pay per minute scheme for data usage enables us to further address our customers wants and needs, and to deliver on our promise of always adding life to life.”

To subscribe to du Start Stop service, customers need to have enough More Time credit or Out of Credit balance. Once the service is activated, there is a minimum charge of 30 fils for the first 15 minutes of usage. After that, it will be 2 fils per minute for a maximum duration of four hours in one session. Customers can start as many consecutive sessions with the same fees.
