DUBAI: Arizona State University’s Thunderbird School of Global Management has opened a center of excellence in partnership with the Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC).

Thunderbird Global Innovation Center will help accelerate startups and provide leadership and management education, including graduate degree programs for individuals and organizations, it said in a statement.

“Our new home in Dubai's financial nerve center will allow Thunderbird and ASU to do what we do best—spark innovation and build collaborative knowledge networks across sectors and disciplines—in one of the business world's key locations,” said Thunderbird Director General and Dean Sanjeev Khagram.

Thunderbird joins the likes of London Business School and Cass Business School in setting up regional centers in Dubai.
