Valued at AED 30 million, the expansive sewerage network will consist of gravity sewers, pump stations and pressure mains.

The new facilities will serve over 769 villas, which are currently under construction in Al Muntazy, Ajman.

According to ASPCL, the sewerage network will also cater for other upcoming developmental projects in the Emirate of Ajman.

This is a huge infrastructure project that will significantly expand our wastewater collection capability for up to 170,000 properties after completion. These new facilities will also enhance our service delivery for the residents of Ajman,” said General Manager ASPCL.

After completion, ASPCL will now have over 300 kilometers of sewer lines, 27 pumping stations and an expanded wastewater treatment facility, which will handle over 140 million liters per day.

The integrated sewerage network, which is expected to be completed in lateral with the housing Programme, will cover an estimated 95.60 hectares of the housing project. This translates to over 25 kilometers of wastewater collection pipes.

The new sewerage network was designed by ASPCL and will be constructed with the cooperation of the Ajman Municipality and Planning Department and the Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme (SZHP).
