MUSCAT -- The Shell Better Mileage Road Show, organised by Shell Oman to announce the launch of Shell Regular petrol with the Better Mileage formula, will be held at the Muscat City Centre (MCC) again from June 21 to 23, from July 12 to 14 and from July 19 to 21.

They will also be held at local markets, popular public landmarks and designated Shell retail outlets across Oman. The new Shell Super and Shell Regular petrol both with better mileage formulation are now available at all Shell Service Stations across the Sultanate.

The first Shell Better Mileage Road Show was held at Muscat City Centre from May 10 to 12 May and has continued on the following two weekends.

While informing motorists that the better mileage formula is now available in Shell Regular petrol, the Shell Better Mileage Road Show also drove awareness about the spectacular customer response to the enhanced Shell Super petrol with Better Mileage formula that was launched in September 2005.

At the Better Mileage Road Show, visitors at the MCC were treated to 'Shell Better Mileage' games, quizzes and other promotional activities.

The Shell team had also lined up a host of interesting activities for children with lots of exciting prizes given away. In a recent market research study conducted by a reputed independent market research organisation, 88 per cent of customers who tried New Shell Super petrol said that with Better Mileage formulation they experienced better mileage.

Shell customers were agreed in their opinion that Shell fuels offer them the best value of money, with better mileage and resultant significant cost savings.

The Better Mileage formula improves engine efficiency and reduces emissions, thereby, having a positive effect on the environment.

"Shell Oman has now introduced the new Shell Regular petrol, which has also been enhanced with the better mileage formula again, at no extra cost to our customers. Shell Better Mileage Road Shows will play an instrumental role in communicating this message to our customers across Oman, while driving home the fact that Shell is Oman's preferred quality fuel-of-choice," said Irshad Al Lawati, managing director of Shell Oman Marketing Company SAOG.
