Dealers from region's largest automotive retail park showcase Lamborghini Aventadors, Gallardos, and Mercedes SL 63s, among others

Souq Al Haraj for Cars, managed by Sharjah Asset Management, the investment arm of the Government of Sharjah, concluded its participation in the inaugural Abu Dhabi International Motor Show (ADIMS) yesterday, declaring its efforts a "huge success".

Held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), ADIMS 2016 is now the UAE capital's largest motor show, catering to car enthusiasts and buyers in Abu Dhabi - the UAE's largest car buyers' market.

Commenting on Souq Al Haraj's recent participation in the show, Ahmed Al Musharrakh, Acting-Manager of the Souq said:

"The Abu Dhabi International Motor Show has exceeded all expectations for the goals we set out for in its inaugural event. We have been especially pleased with our ability to have reached out and made people aware of Souq Al Haraj's unique offering in what is an extremely vibrant car buyers' market here in the nation's capital."

Dealerships on Souq Al Haraj's ADIMS exhibition stand included Mawater Motors, Abu Mansour Motors, Dubai 2000, and Emirates Auction. Vehicles on display included: the Lamborghini Aventador, Mercedes SL 63 Brabus, and an S-Class Brabus (Mawater Motors); a Lamborghini Gallardo LP560 (Dubai 2000); and a Rolls Royce Drophead Phantom, one of one (Emirates Auction).

Operational since January 2016, Sharjah's Souq Al Haraj has over five million square feet of space, designed for over 400 retail outlets for various trading and service activities, and has already established a customer base that extends across and beyond the UAE.

With a capacity for 25,000 cars to be on sale at any one time, current sales figures show that an average of 200 cars are sold per day, or 6,000 per month.

Showcasing the latest vehicles and existing models from around the world, ADIMS 2016 welcomed thousands of visitors to its inaugural edition, with Souq Al Haraj offering up one of the most visited stands in the used car market segment.

Souq Al Haraj for Cars is open to the public year-round from: 8:00am to 10:00pm, Sunday to Wednesday, and from 8:00am to 12:00am, Thursday and Saturday. On Friday, the Souq opens from 4:00pm to 12:00am.
