Back in 1998 Ariston, market leaders in the supply of water heaters in Europe established a manufacturing base in China as part of its Global Manufacturing Strategy. Set for expansion into the Middle East market, Ariston reiterates its assured guarantee of quality and durability whilst offering more competitive product supply rates.
Ariston water heaters are manufactured by MTS Group who is headquartered in Italy. They are world leaders in the manufacture of a comprehensive range of water heaters and burners. Over the last three decades the group has expanded globally, opening new branches, production plants and acquiring established factories across the globe.
"Since its establishment in 1998, the Chinese factory has successfully supplied water heaters to the Far East market. Ariston has now launched a competitive range of the Chinese products in the Middle East market. The introduction of optional post warranty period service for both ranges is a unique and innovative development which will be available for all Ariston water heaters."
Durability and quality
One of the many reasons cited, for the success of Ariston water heaters is the durability and quality of the product. Watson attributes this to the excellent research and development team at Ariston. As a result they have introduced many new and innovative ideas, like the new model `Ti-Tech' - a product guaranteed for 10 years. According to Watson, all of their products are not only exceptionally durable but also very cost effective when backed by a planned maintenance scheme. Through the selection of such schemes, the associated expenses of damage through catastrophic failure and early replacement of the product can be avoided. This service can extend the life of a heater for between 10 to 20 years demonstrating value-added service and extended trouble-free operation despite aggressive water quality experienced here in the UAE.
According to Watson, "Ariston technicians have conducted tests on Chinese, Indian, Russian, Italian and UAE waters and fully understands the effects of varying water quality on product performance. Ariston has been able to design its heaters to withstand the different water conditions." Special features
All Ariston's water heaters including the ones made in China feature a double layer of glass lining and high-density polyurethane foam to provide superior insulation that guarantees excellent heat and lower energy consumption. The new high quality components designed and manufactured by Ariston include the new TBS precise series thermostat with double security to prevent any possible malfunctions; a pressure safety valve and an extra large heating element which is calcium proof and therefore longer lasting. These high quality components are designed and manufactured by Ariston under stringent quality control measures to ensure excellent operation even after several years of use.
Also all Ariston's models offer many advantages. These include using an oversized magnesium anode that extends the water heater's protection. Safety measures include an external temperature control knob. Ariston products are easy to use and provide easy access for maintenance. Slim Range SGHP: This is a wall hung electric storage water heater with a reduced cylinder diameter that makes it easy to install, especially in restricted space or access areas for example above a false ceiling. Apart from shape a key feature is an optional remote control for easy operation. There is a wide range available in different capacities and installation modes up to 100 litres. The 353mm diameter is available in both the vertical and horizontal versions. All products come with an exclusive glass lined steel tank and installation accessories. A double safety device has been especially incorporated in the product design and the product comes with a five year warranty.
Regular Range SGHP: This too, is a wall hung electric storage unit. The range 450 (external diameter) features the MTS special inner tank glass lining technology and is available in different capacities and installation modes. All models are available in vertical or horizontal versions and in different capacities. The products have the CE European mark and of course come with a double safety device. An oversized magnesium anode provides additional protection against corrosion. The SGHP range comes with a five-year warranty.
Projects
Presence in Dubai: The Paul Weil Company has already supplied over 1,00,000 units of Ariston Super Glass Royal (SGR) water heaters to prestigious major projects, in addition to its traditional distributor sales. Watson sees further market share growth through competitive pricing with the Made in China products being offered alongside the existing Italian product thus broadening the specifiers choice.
Presence in GCC: Ariston products are well known throughout the Middle East, the products are widely distributed throughout the GCC. The MTS and Paul Weil Company supply their products in large numbers to projects all over the Middle East including Oman, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, as well as many other areas in the Middle Eastern region. They intend to continue to offer the traditional sector the quality and service of the Ariston range.
