قالت وزارة المالية المصرية إن صافي استثمارات الأجانب في أدوات الدين الحكومية زاد إلى 15.8 مليار دولار بنهاية فبراير شباط.
ويزيد ذلك عن مستوى 13.1 مليار دولار المسجل بنهاية يناير كانون الثاني، لكنه يقل عن مستوى 17.5 مليار دولار المسجل في نهاية يونيو حزيران و23.1 مليار دولار في نهاية مارس آذار 2018.
وتعتمد مصر على الاقتراض الخارجي والأموال الساخنة من الأجانب في أدوات الدين لتوفير الدولار بجانب المصادر الأساسية مثل إيرادات قناة السويس والسياحة وتحويلات المصريين في الخارج والصادرات التي لم تشهد نموا يضاهي خطوة تحرير سعر صرف الجنيه في أواخر 2016.
