أبلغ محمود عبدالرازق شيكابالا، نجم فريق نادي الزمالك، مجلس إدارة ناديه برئاسة متضى منصور، رغبته في الاستمرار داخل القلعة البيضاء وعدم الرحيل.
ومن جانبه رحب مرتضى منصور بقرار شيكابالا مؤكداً هو الاّخر على تواجد اللاعب ضمن صفوف الفريق كقائد محنك وواحد من أصحاب الخرة في لم شمل الفريق وقيادته للبطولات.
وكان شيكابالا قد أكد في وقت سابق عن رغبته في انهاء مشواره الكروي داخل نادي الاسماعيلي قبل أن يقرر اللاعب البقاء داخل صفوف الزمالك.
وكان الزمالك قد أعار شيكا لمدة 6 شهور لصفوف الرائد السعودي انتهت في الصيف الجاري.
