A new chairman has been appointed for Saudi Arabia Refineries Company (SARCO) by the board of directors, according to a statement to the Saudi Stock Exchange Tadawul.

Professor Suleiman bin Saad Al Hamid was appointed as chairman and Iyad bin Muhammad Sheikh vice chairman.

The company’s website previously listed Prince Mohammed bin Khalid bin Turki Al Saud as company’s chairman.

The statement also said Prince Mohammed would be a member of the company’s investment committee and nomination and remuneration committees for a three-year period.
