Manama, Tender board:

The Tender Board, the independent regulator of Bahrain Government procurement activities, today opened 64 electronic bids related to 10 tenders for four purchasing authorities.

The Committee opened two tenders for the Electricity and Water Authority, for Transformer & Reactor Works for Installation of IBT No.4 at Um AlHassam 400kV Grid Substatio. two bids were received for this tender, and the second tender was for Construction of boundary wall at zimmah primary substation, Arad, 13 bids were received for this tender

With regard to purchases by the Central Stores Directorate Department of the Electricity and Water Authority, one tender was opened for the purchase of a module, communication, one bid was received for this tender. Two bids were also received for the purchase of substation, kiosk.

During the opening session, tenders were opened for the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibition Authority for the third phase of– Supply & Install Signage`s for 49 Shop in Manama Souq, eight tenders were received for this tender.

For the oil and gas sector, two tenders were opened for The Bahrain Petroleum Company (Bapco), the first tender for the provision of meter proving and    tank calibration service, three bids were received for this tender, the second tender was for the supply of furnace tube for platformer & seamless tubes for SWS (Sour Water Stripper), nine bids were received.

In the aviation sector, three tenders have been opened for Bahrain Airport Company, the first tender for the Term Contract to Acquire Third Party Logistics (3PL) Services for Company, four bids have been received for this tender, and 17 bids have been received for the Filming and Video Production for New Terminal Building, and the third tender was for the Term Contract to Supply Stationery Supplies for BAC, five bids have been received for this tender.

The tender process was attended by representatives of the bidding companies and companies participating in the tenders. In line with the Tender Board’s guidelines on competitiveness and fairness, the bids will be assessed on all relevant technical and financial criteria before being awarded to the best fit candidate.
