Ajman-UAE: The Low-income Families Committee of Dar Al Ber Society has contributed Dh2,061,479 to Ajman University (AU) Thamer Fund in support of students with financial difficulties.

The move is in line with the Society commitment to education and indigent students nationwide, according to H.E Ali Hassan Al Asi, Chairman of the Low-income Families Committee, Dar Al Ber.

“It's pleasure and honor to support 156 indigent students of Ajman University with Dh2,061,479 on the Zayed Humanitarian Work Day.”

Making this timely contribution happen on this historic day is a commemoration of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan’s legacy of giving, he added.

“The kind gesture would not have been possible without the dedication of our strategic donors and partners.”

Karim Seghir, Ph.D., AU Chancellor, expressed his profound appreciation to Dar Al Ber Society and Ali Hassan Al Asi for their white hands.

“Your kind contribution on this blessed day is a valuable addition to the Society record of generosity, benevolence and investment in education and youth.”

H.E Abdullah Al Mazrouie, Chairman, Thamer Fund, paid tributes to Dar Al Ber for their unlimited support to all segments of society, mainly students with financial challenges.

“The substantial contributions, a true reflection of the country of giving, is an extension of Zayed Al Khair’s shiny procession that has no end."

The Low-income Families Committee of Dar Al Ber Society has been supporting destitute students across the country for years. This generous support helps them overcome their financial difficulties and continue their university study.
