Riyadh -- The Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu signed 24 contracts with 16 investors to set up commercial centers, hotels, residential buildings, medical clinics, gas stations and leisure services in Jubail and Ras Al-Khair with a total value of more than SR1,262 million.

An agreement to this effect was signed by Prince Saud Thunayan, Chairman of the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, here on Sunday.

Under the agreement, the Commission will provide land in the industrial cities of Jubail and Ras Al-Khair to investors.

Prince Thunayan said that all the planned projects are in line with Vision 2030 and the National Transformation Program 2020 to provide an opportunity for the private sector to contribute to the strengthening of vital sectors like services and entertainment.

The National Transformation Program has also adopted 13 initiatives of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage (SCTA) worth more than SR26 billion.

These initiatives constitute projects submitted by the Commission to the State since the approval of the national strategy for tourism development and the subsequent programs.
