December 2015 is set for the official opening of Fabyland in response to growing family entertainment demand

Dubai - Dubai Festival City Mall will open a brand new Family Entertainment Centre (FEC) in December, further reinforcing the mall's reputation as a prominent leisure and entertainment destination.

The announcement follows the signing of an agreement between Dubai Festival City Malland leading Saudi conglomerate Al-Othaim for itsFabyLand family entertainment concept.

"FabyLand will give Dubai Festival City Mall visitors the edge in family entertainment options and it will complement the destination's overall retail and leisure offering," said Brad Merchant, General Manager,Dubai Festival City Mall.

"This new entertainment venue will play a major part in Dubai Festival City Mall's AED 1.2 billion expansion programmedesigned to offer anenhanced level of possibilities and experiences for our customers. These plans build on Dubai's strength and appeal as one of the world's must-visit family destinations and on the ever growing needto offer residents more choices for their entertainment," said Merchant.

The unique 'FabyLand' Family Entertainment Centre(FEC) will cover an area of 70,000 square feet. It will signal the arrival to Dubai of a brand new entertainment venue with a 'futuristic' ambience, featuringa wide array of thrilling rides, many other attractions forteenagers and adults alike, including My Town, a new concept that combines entertainment with physical activities for children and toddlers.
