DUBAI: Bristol - Fire engineering Industries L.L.C, UAE based commercial vehicle body manufacturer including ambulances and mobile clinics, has been recognized as a ‘VanPartner’ by Mercedes-Benz.

The announcement was made today during the Arab Health 2020 event taking place at the Dubai World Trade Centre where Bristol is showcasing its ambulance.

The VanPartner status has been awarded to Bristol having successfully completed an extensive review process of conversion solutions made on a Mercedes-Benz van chassis.

The evaluation covers the areas of quality, sales and after-sales services which Mercedes-Benz imposes on body manufacturers in the field of individual body solutions.

This partnership arrangement gives Bristol access to support from Mercedes-Benz, as a chassis partner, significantly strengthening the quality of the body conversion solutions manufactured by Bristol.

Speaking at the Arab Health 2020, Mahmoud Awad, Managing Director at Bristol Fire Engineering Industries said: “Being certified as a VanPartner by Mercedes Benz is a recognition of our high quality production and expertise in the industry. It is a huge step for the whole team at Bristol and one we are exceedingly proud of.

“We constantly strive for improvement and developing our products and services whilst continuing to deliver what our customers need”.

The Mercedes-Benz VanPartner certification programme ensures Bristol provides a best-in-class chassis for its ambulances in terms of comfort and safety.

Under the Van Partner certification all body and conversion solutions are produced in accordance with the body/equipment mounting directives or come with a certificate of endorsement.

Thomas Greipel, General Manager of Mercedes-Benz Vans Middle East and North Africa (MENA), said: “We are pleased to welcome Bristol Fire Engineering Industries as a certified VanPartner, meeting the requirements set out for quality, sales and after-sales services required to achieve this certification. As a certified VanPartner, Bristol is able to offer solutions to their customers that meet Mercedes-Benz standards of quality, robustness and safety.”
