UAE’s National Central Cooling Company (Tabreed) has signed an agreement with developer Miral to provide cooling services to SeaWorld Abu Dhabi.

The marine life theme park, expected to be completed in 2022 on Yas Island, will have a purpose-built district cooling facility to serve it and future Yas Island projects, with a cooling capacity of 15,000 refrigeration tons (RT).

The company currently services 62,000 RT of capacity to Yas Island and has a potential overall capacity of 100,000 RT, it said in a statement to Dubai Financial Market (DFM).
