Riyadh -   The Saudi Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC) has fined three telecom companies.

Fines with a total value of SAR 14 million has been imposed on Saudi Telecom Company (STC), Etihad Etisalat (Mobily), and Mobile Telecommunication Company Saudi Arabia (Zain).

The fines are attributed to a number of violations, and are all considered final, according to the commission’s statement on Thursday

STC will have to pay the biggest fine of SAR 12.47 million, while Mobily and Zain have been penalized with SAR 1.56 million, and SAR 296,000, respectively.
