Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, who was filming major portions of his spy thriller Tiger Zinda Hai in Abu Dhabi, took a break from acting and played tour guide to top Abu Dhabi officials.

The tour of the 20,000 sq metre set in Khalifa Industrial Zone (Kizad), organised by twofour54 and the film’s producer Yash Raj Films, saw senior officials from various government entities attend.

Tiger Zinda Hai is a sequel to the blockbuster movie Ek Tha Tigerand is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. Starring Khan and Katrina Kaif, this spy thriller is touted to be Abu Dhabi’s longest feature film project to date. It has a filming schedule of 65 days and a 300-person production team.

“It was a great pleasure to accompany representatives from various leading Abu Dhabi entities on a fascinating tour of the Tiger Zinda Hai set, and to host Salman Khan in the capital. The making of Tiger Zinda Hai has been another successful production process and we are looking forward to the film’s release later this year,” said Maryam Al Mheiri, CEO of twofour54 and Abu Dhabi’s Media Zone Authority.

The film is expected to release on December 22.
