Nissan Middle East, a leading automotive brand in the region, has launched the new Nissan Sunny 2020 at the Dubai International Motor, being held in Dubai, UAE.

The event opened yesterday (November 12) and will run until November 16, at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

Nissan Middle East is also showcasing its automotive innovations and production cars that help move everyone to a safe, sustainable, and exciting world.

Combining a new dramatic and expressive exterior with a fresh new interior, the 2020 Sunny is complimented with brand-new features that include Nissan Intelligent Mobility and Nissan Safety Shield 360 that helps keep you safe and connects you to your world like never before, said a statement from the company.

Already a sales-leading nameplate in the segment, the reimagined 2020 Sunny sedan presents a clear design expression of the Nissan brand with a dramatic, expressive exterior and fresh new interior with class-above features and quality, it said.

The new design offers lower, wider and longer exterior dimensions while retaining Sunny’s roomy interior space. Key styling elements of Nissan’s distinctive “Emotional Geometry” design language include the new Sunny’s V-motion grille, boomerang-shaped headlamps and tail lamps, kick-up C-pillars and floating roof, it added.

The model is available in seven dynamic colours including Electric Blue Metallic, Brilliant Silver Metallic, and Scarlet Ember Tintcoat.

Another exciting addition on display at the Dubai International Motor Show is the 2020 Nissan GT-R 50th Anniversary Edition. Since the birth of the GT-R in 1969, the iconic nameplate has become synonymous with excitement, high performance and unparalleled refinement.

The 50th Anniversary version is now the embodiment of GT-R, enthralling people throughout the world and leaving a sterling record of glory in Japanese and global motorsports.

The 2020 Nissan GT-R is available in five grade levels in the GCC: GT-R Premium, GT-R Track Edition, GT-R Black Edition, GT-R 50th Anniversary, and GT-R NISMO, it stated.

Thierry Sabbagh, managing director of Nissan Middle East, said: “The show continues to gather and build a crowd of passionate motoring enthusiasts and industry specialists year after year.”

“We are thrilled to be taking part in the 15th edition of the show and aim to give motor enthusiasts a full immersion into Nissan’s innovative mobility experience as well as showcase our diverse line-up over the next few days,” he said.

At the show, Nissan is also highlighting Nissan Intelligent Mobility, the company’s approach to changing how cars are powered, driven and integrated into society at a dedicated ‘Energy Sharing Corner’.

Nissan offers visitors the opportunity to use cutting-edge technology to produce their own energy while watching Nissan Energy in action. They can then use this energy as a currency to pay for a cup of freshly brewed macchiato topped with their self-portrait crafted from foam, off a barista station that runs purely off a Nissan Leaf.

“Electric vehicles are just one element of Nissan’s vision. Our ‘Energy Sharing Corner’ is the perfect way to showcase customers how we can potentially revolutionise the way in which we generate and utilise energy,” Thierry added.

Two special Gazelle concepts make their exclusive debut on the Nissan Middle East stand; Gazelle Storm and Navara Gazelle Pick-Up. In 2018, Nissan launched the Nissan Patrol Safari Falcon Gazelle and Gazelle X in spectacular fashion, which immediately grabbed the attention of loyal Patrol Safari fans.

Another variant now built on the iconic nameplate, is the Gazelle Storm Concept, continuing its name after the fleet footed animal that inhabits the Arabian desert sands.

The Navara Gazelle concept is another vehicle specifically built for the Middle East region with enhanced sports and performance capabilities. These concept vehicles are equipped with special edition wheels and tires, various exterior kit enhancements, and customized interiors that offer an unparalleled off-road experience.

“Nissan remains committed to bringing innovation and excitement to customers in the Middle East. Our stellar growth in FY18 and dynamic product offering across the region is a testament to this commitment. We have and will always continue to find new ways to connect and engage with our customers,” he concluded.

The full Nissan range at the show includes the newly launched 2020 Patrol, special edition X-Trail X-tremer, 2019 Altima, 2019 Maxima, Nissan Patrol Falcon and Gazelle as well as the Nissan Kicks Dual Tone, it stated. – TradeArabia News Service
