UAE – Sharjah-based Crescent Petroleum plans to double its gas production in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq (KRI) in the coming two or three years, the company’s CEO and board member at Dana Gas said.

The price of crude oil currently reached $70 per barrel, which will achieve a balance between the needs of oil producers and consumers and provide sufficient revenue, Al Khaleej newspaper reported, citing Majid Jafar.

Moreover, Jafar expressed his optimism over the situation in Egypt regarding the payment of its dues through negotiations.

He further noted that an international arbitration case has been filed against Iran to evaluate the harm it caused during the period from 2014 to 2030.
