RiyadhThe Saudi National Water Company (NWC) on Sunday announced the completion of all projects in Makkah and the reduction of idle sewage and water projects to 0%, the state-run utility said in a statement.

NWC implemented a modern mechanism to accelerate the execution process of projects and raise the number of completed ones, in line with the Saudi vision 2030, Mohammed bin Saleh Al-Ghamdi, director general of water services in Makkah region, said.

A total of 13 projects, including seven water projects and six sewage projects, are being implemented at a combined cost of SAR 1.7 billion, Al-Ghamdi added.
