Dubai, UAE: Signage and Graphic Imaging Dubai, the region’s largest and premier exhibition for the signage and large format printing industry announces the inclusion of new categories. With the upcoming 23rd edition of the show International Expo Consults, the organisers of the show would like to unveil a new format of the show, which is relevant and caters to the latest trends in the marketplace. SGI Dubai 2020 is scheduled to take place from January 12th to 14th in Halls 4, 5, 6, 7 & 8 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

SGI Dubai has been the premier and most awaited show for the printing and signage industry in the region. After careful evaluation of the market scenario and listening to the exhibitors and more-importantly the visitors, SGI Dubai 2020 will also cater to the new categories such as Artificial Intelligence; Advanced Display Technologies such as outdoor 3D screens, holographic displays, bendy displays; Branding and Labelling; Software; Spare parts and Consumables and lastly Metal Cutting and Engraving.

According to Sharif Rahman, CEO, International Expo-Consults, “The 2020 show will be a completely different show from its predecessors. Much like the industry that it serves, the show has gone through various stages of evolution. To keep up with the changing technology and the trends in the industry and to stay relevant to the various visitors that grace the show, SGI Dubai 2020 will extend into allied fields that it hadn’t focused on in the past.”

Sharif continued, “SGI Dubai has been the biggest signage and graphics show in the Middle East and Africa region and we aim to make it one of the biggest shows in the world in the coming 5 years. The new format brings us one step closer to our objective. With new categories, exhibitors and visitors the show will be bigger than ever before.”

SGI Dubai 2020 will also include a creative competition – SGI Dubai ‘Wall of Fame’, a car wrapping competition – ‘Masters of Wrap’, seminars and workshops conducted by industry experts under the banner of ‘Knowledge Series 2020’. Apart from the new categories, the show will be focused on several aspects of the printing and graphics industry including signage, digital signage, textile printing, screen printing, LED among others. During the previous edition SGI Dubai welcomed over 330 global exhibitors from across 30+ countries and registered thousands of trade visitors from around the world.

SGI Dubai is an ideal converging point where visitors and exhibitors can influence and engage with architects, sign makers, print and production manufacturers, media agencies, real-estate developers, brand and image consultants among others.
