Ras Al Kaimah, UAE - RAK Properties is delighted to announce the appointment of Giles Hannah as Group Chief Commercial Officer. Hannah takes the helm at the UAE’s leading property development firm, bringing with him prime real estate and operations experience.

In his role as Group Chief Commercial Officer, Hannah will assume responsibility at RAK Properties for sales, leasing, marketing and sales administration teams. Prior to joining RAK Properties, he was Head of International at Dubai Properties, a subsidiary of Dubai Holding (DH), a global investment holding company, where he was responsible for international sales and business strategy.

During his career, Hannah has achieved several industry accolades and awards, and is recognized as a leader in the global prime real estate sector. He has received regular press and media mentions, internationally, with market commentary in leading property publications and has appeared on various high profile property industry panels.

Of his appointment, Hannah commented: “I am proud to be appointed Group Chief Commercial Officer of RAK Properties; a pioneer real-estate organization that is recognized locally, regionally and globally. Hannah began his career in global real estate, upon receiving a business management degree from University of Westminster, London, at Savills, where he advised on super prime sales and marketing of major mixed-use property developments. He co-founded property firm VanHan prior to being appointed senior vice president at Christie’s International Real Estate, where he oversaw global mixed-use luxury developments and led property acquisitions.
