Sharjah, UAE - The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department and the Real Estate Sector Business Group in Sharjah have announced that they have completed the preparations for the 5th edition of the Acres 2018 real estate exhibition, which is being held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah. The exhibition will be held at Expo Centre Sharjah from the 21st to the 23rd of March.

The exhibition aims to highlight the boom in Sharjah’s urban development, and the many investment opportunities that exist in this vital sector. The exhibition also aims to support the workers in the real estate sector through the promotion of real estate projects, and through attracting investors from all over the country and abroad to come and witness the latest developments and investment opportunities in the real estate sector in Sharjah, and the incentives provided by the emirate to this important sector.

HE Saeed Ghanim Al Suwaidi, Chairman of Real Estate Sector business Group, stated that the number of companies participating in the new edition of the exhibition has increased by 50% compared to the previous edition. He expects that the exhibition will attract many investors, especially since a number of developers will offer special prices during the exhibition.

Al Suwaidi pointed out that the 5th edition of Acres will hold a number of workshops, seminars and panel discussions during the exhibition, where they will be headed and presented by a number of heads of departments that related to the real estate sector, as well as directors of some of Sharjah’s leading companies that specialize in real estate investment and development, in cooperation with the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department and the Real Estate Sector Business Group in Sharjah. These workshops and seminars will help introduce investors, participants and employees in the real estate sector to the administrative and investment aspects of the sector, and help to clarify the laws and facilities that encourage investment in Sharjah.

Al Suwaidi praised the great role played by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) and the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department in promoting the investment opportunities that are available in the emirate. He also commended the concerted efforts of the various governmental institutions and departments that are related to the real estate sector in the Emirate of Sharjah, and their work in supporting the exhibition, which is hoped to have a significant role in elevating ideas and projects that help develop the real estate sector and achieve the vision of His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, in making Sharjah a leading role model in this field.

Acres 2018 targets real estate developers, construction companies, real estate agents, banks and financial institutions, architectural and interior design firms, governmental real estate agencies, insurance companies, legal consultancy firms, property management companies, property owners, engineering companies and project management companies.

The Acres exhibition, which is one of the most prominent events in the real estate industry, attracts and encourages developers and investors to take advantage of the boom in the real estate market, and to learn about the latest developments in the UAE, Gulf and Middle East real estate markets, as well as providing an opportunity to meet with investors closely.
