One Za'abeel, the new iconic mixed-use hotel project in Dubai, is scheduled to open in 2021.

According to a Dubai Media Office tweet, the hotel has achieved a milestone as it made a major construction progress on The Link - an epic panoramic sky concourse suspended perpendicularly connecting two towers of Za'abeel One at a height of around 100 meters. It achieved the feat of sliding the bridge from Tower A to B. The project's two towers are 67 and 57 storey high.

Developed by Ithra Dubai, owned by Investment Corporation of Dubai, assembly of The Link's main structure is an impressive engineering exploit. The luxury hotel will house a choice of attractions including Michelin starred restaurants, observation decks, and an infinity pool as well as an immersive experience that is now in its final design stages.

One Za'abeel is standing at the gateway of old and new Dubai. Japanese architecture practice Nikken Sekkei designed the emirate's new icon while Alec Engineering and Contracting was appointed as the main contractor. Designed as a destination in its own right that will draw visitors from the emirate and beyond, the development has now reached a new milestone.
