Dubai-based master developer Nakheel has floated a public tender for the construction and modification of infrastructure for Dragon City Warehouses in Dubai.
The scope of work covers road works, solar powered lighting poles, pocket substation foundations and relevant utility service networks.
“The contract is expected to be awarded by mid-March 2017,” a source told Zawya Projects.
The tender documents are available for a non-refundable fee of 2,500 dirhams ($681) according to the invite.
The final date of tender submission is 30 January, 2017.
In August 2016, a statement from the developer said it has awarded a $39 million contract to construct a 375,000 square feet showroom complex at Dragon City, which houses the popular Dragon Mart at International City in Dubai. The statement said the development is undergoing expansion in the form of new retail, hospitality and residential components that, when complete, will increase its size to 11 million square feet.
