Dubai – Millennium Hotels & Resorts MEA, one of the fastest-growing regional hotel management companies in the Middle East & Africa according to October 2019 report issued by STR, formerly known as Smith Travel Research, appoints Shahnaz Hassan as the Group Director of Human Resources. The move comes in line with the company restless endeavors to empower qualified and talented women in the hospitality sector.

With 25 years of experience and a diversity of skills, Shahnaz will lead the human resources to support the robust expansion plan of the group and accelerate the learning and development process. Before joining Millennium Hotels and Resorts MEA, Shahnaz held the position of Human Resources Director at Union Properties, Uptown Mirdiff prior being promoted to General Manager. She also has held several senior positions at highly respected companies such as General Electric, Damac Holdings, HSBC and Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank.

In 1993, Shahnaz graduated from the Higher Colleges of Technology, Dubai Women’s College. Since then, she has taken the lead to overcome various challenges that women were facing at that time. She has successfully made her way to success by taking over senior positions.
