The ADCB -Zayed Sports City 5&10K run returns on 10 January 2020

Abu Dhabi: Under the patronage of the wife of HH. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Advisor to His Highness the President of the United Arab Emirates, HH. Sheikha Shaikha bint Saif bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Life-time Parton of “Make a Wish” foundation UAE, the Foundation celebrates its tenth anniversary by launching the second edition of the “Run for a Wish” initiative, which achieved remarkable success in its first version.

Commenting on this occasion, Hani Al-Zubaidi, CEO of "Make a Wish" Foundation UAE , said: "We are proud of the 10-year anniversary since we start to grant the wishes of children with serious critical illnesses to their lives, and were able to sow happiness and hope in the hearts of  the children with their families. "

 “With the support of Gulf Multi Sport, the second ADCB Zayed Sports City 5 & 10k run returns on January 10th 2020, which is the first Foundation’s initiatives for the “Towards the next 50” year. Through this run, we seek to spread the foundation’s noble humanitarian message, promoting the culture of volunteerism and love of goodness without waiting for return, along with achieving the financial returns necessary to grant the wishes that may be the last in the lives of sick children," he added.

Al-Zubaidi concluded his statement by saying: “We are proud of the partnership and cooperation agreements with many leading private and governmental companies and institutions in the field of social responsibility. I thank ADCB and Zayed Sports City for their efforts for the second year in a row to make this event a success that aligns with the vision of the wise leadership in promoting happiness and health within the Emirates’ community.”

“I also value our new partnership with Gulf Multi Sport, which is a leading provider of community sporting events in the UAE and is interested in supporting charitable and social activities as part of their Community Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.
