Cairo –  The Executive Director of the Egyptian General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI), Mohamed Abdel Wahab, met with officials of major UAE companies to explore means of cooperation in investment.

Saleh Mohammed Bin Nasra, Owner of Diamond Group, said that the UAE-based company plans to transfer its experience in real estate development to several regional and international markets, according to a statement on Tuesday.

The company chose Egypt as its first destination due to the promising investment opportunities in the market and the improvement of the investment climate.

Abdel Rahman Agamy, CEO of Diamond Group and Sky Abu Dhabi Real Estate Development, said that the company has already taken steps in its plan to inject EGP 15 billion into Egypt over two years.

Since its entry into the Egyptian market in February 2021, the company has launched its first project in the New Administrative Capital with an investment of EGP 4 billion.

Sky Abu Dhabi Real Estate Development is a subsidiary of Diamond Group which has a diverse portfolio of more than 17 projects in the UAE.
