FujSeng Constructions, a leading engineering and construction company, is set to build a Dh100-million ($27.2 million) sports stadium in the Dibba region of Fujairah in co-ordination with Consulting Engineers Company.

The foundation stone for the project was laid yesterday (May 22) by Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah.

The new stadium is just the latest bid to boost the emirate's economy by ensuring an investment-conducive environment in line with the directives of HH Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah.

Sheikh Mohammed said that the launch of the stadium is part of the efforts being tirelessly made to develop the infrastructure of the emirate’s sporting establishments, directing all local and federal government departments to chip in the stadium’s construction.

Sheikh Mohammed was later briefed on the layout, interior design of the sporting facility by the officials of the Consulting Engineers Company.-TradeArabia News Service
