Saudi Arabia: March 9, 2016 - The first Petromin-Nissan showroom was inaugurated yesterday as part of the new strategic partnership between Nissan and Petromin. This groundbreaking milestone falls under the companies' drive to bring the very best in customer service standards to the Kingdom.

Christian Mardrus, Nissan Senior Vice President and Chairman for Africa, Middle East and India commented on the inauguration: "Today's showroom opening marks the first milestone in our newly announced partnership with Petromin. This is just the beginning. Nissan's world-class vehicles and Petromin's far-reaching network of excellent facilities are a perfect match and the benefits of this strategic partnership will be obvious to all from the start."

Nissan announced in 2013 that it was to renew its strong bond with Saudi Arabia with a direct manufacturer presence in the form of Nissan KSA, pledging to quickly grow its market share with increased annual sales. And the recently announced partnership with Petromin, which is the Kingdom's leading automobile servicing company, will help achieve these goals in a timely yet sustainable program of growth.

"We are very excited about our partnership with Nissan." added Samir Nawar, President and CEO of Petromin Corporation. "Since our beginning nearly five decades ago, Petromin has become the kingdom's market leader in vehicle servicing and our network is unrivalled when it comes to geographical coverage and highest levels of customer satisfaction. Adding showrooms for sales of Nissans into this expanding business portfolio is an exciting development and we look forward to providing Nissans customers with the high standards of sales, service and care they rightly expect. This is a new era for both our brands and we couldn't be more positive about the future."

The joint partnership between Nissan and Petromin brings a number of significant benefits to customers in Saudi Arabia.  Petromin has a presence in the Kingdom that competitors simply cannot match. Its core philosophy when it comes to customer service is to offer unbeatable quality, geographic spread, convenient timings for customers, all combined with competitive pricing.

Petromin Nissan technicians are factory trained to deliver the highest quality standards and its facilities are set up to offer exceptional speed and convenience, with no appointments necessary - crucial in after sales support.

"The new showroom in Jeddah matches Nissan's global standards and sets itself apart as a model for others to follow. It's entirely geared to provide customers with the best possible experience and we eagerly look forward to expanding with further facilities to build further this iconic brand in such a key market". Said Samir Cherfan, Nissan Middle East's Managing Director.
