Cairo: Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has discussed with the president of the World Bank (WB) Jim Yong Kim different means to develop mutual cooperation in the North African country's economic and social transformation.

El Sisi and Jim Yong Kim’s meeting also discussed the WB’s efforts to help the government attract foreign investments to the Arab world's most populous country.

The meeting also covered the economic reform programme in addition to development projects launched recently by the Egyptian government to boost the country’s economy.

El Sisi confirmed the WB’s role as being the first international institution that funded Egypt’s economy.
