Cairo –  The Egyptian cabinet approved 12 draft laws related to oil and gas exploration and production agreements.

The agreements were signed by the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS), Ganoub El Wadi Petroleum Holding Company (Ganope), and the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) with a number of US, French, Emirati, and Kuwaiti companies, according to a statement on Wednesday.

This came during the weekly cabinet meeting held via a video-conference call.
