Egypt's New Capital electric train sees over 23% civil works execution

27% of bridges construction has been completed

ArabFinance: Egypt’s Minister of Transportation Kamel el Wazir has inspected Adly Mansour exchange station of the New Capital electric train project, according to the Cabinet’s statement.

Until April 4th, the accomplishment of civil works reached 23.4%. Also, 27% of bridges construction has been completed.

Meanwhile, tunnels digging, crossing bridges, and maintenance areas have seen an execution rate of 63%, 13.9%, and 11.3%, respectively.

The electric train connects Salam area, New Administrative Capital, and 10th of Ramadan city.

It stretches over 70 kilometers passing through 12 stations and two tunnels, and crossing six bridges.
