ArabFinance: Delta Sugar (SUGR) announced that its board of directors has approved the companys financial results for the period starting January until September 2021, according to a recent statement filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).

The company achieved a net profit after tax of EGP 411.63 million in the first nine months of 2021, versus a net loss of EGP 62.25 million in the prior-year period.

Moreover, revenues rose by 10% to EGP 2.49 billion in the January-September period of 2021 from EGP 2.26 billion in the same period of 2020.

Delta Sugar is an Egypt-based shareholding company that operates in the food processing industry sector.

The company is engaged in the manufacture of white sugar and related products. It operates one factory, which produces over 270,000 tons of white sugar annually.
