Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, 13th October 2015

Arcadis, the leading Design & Consultancy firm for natural and built assets, today announced that former Mott Mac Donald director Nick Roadnight will join the regional leadership team as the KSA Eastern Province and Bahrain area director.

The firm has recently consolidated its operating business and is investing substantially in acquiring and retaining key talent in a bid to strengthen its position as market leader in Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC. Roadnight will work closely with the KSA Managing Director, Paul Souaid, to grow its teams' expertise to help new and existing clients strengthen and sustain business performance.

"It is evident that Saudi Arabia's diversified market has been ramping up with projects across all sectors and is expected to continue through to the end of the year," said Wael Allan, Middle East CEO of Arcadis. "Saudi's rapid population growth and market expansion underlines the importance of strengthening and advancing its market sectors, and we are confident that Nick Roadnight will drive this road for the business towards a sustainable outlook in the market."

With over 25 years of experience, Roadnight was responsible for leading key programs and projects as managing director and transportation development director for Mott MacDonald. He has worked over 10 years in the Middle East in building teams across key project work in the energy, water & utilities, transportation and public sectors.

Arcadis is focused on applying its deep market sector insights and collective design, consultancy, engineering, project and program management services, in partnership with clients in Saudi Arabia to create exceptional and sustainable outcomes. The firm has delivered a number of projects in Saudi Arabia including the on-going work for Kingdom Tower, King Abdullah Sports City stadium and the Mecca water work.

Elaborating on the company's talent acquisition strategy, Allan says, "Hiring Roadnight showcases this drive to draw in exceptional talent in the market place. The Arcadis brand stands for highly motivated and skilled people who live our values of providing outstanding solutions to our clients, and we look forward to this foreseeable future with him."
