ArabFinance: Abu Qir Fertilizers and Chemical Industries reported a 9% Year on Year decline in its net profit in the first three months of the fiscal year 2020/2021, according to the company’s financial statements filed to the Egyptian Exchange.

Net profit stood at EGP 751,602,600 in the January-September 2020, compared to EGP 686,557,593 achieved in the prior-year period.

The company distributed the first tranche of its annual cash dividends on October 22nd.

Abu Qir Fertilizers is an Egypt-based company engaged in the agricultural chemicals sector.

The company focuses on the production, distribution, and export of fertilizers, chemicals and related products. It operates in seven segments, which include Abu Qir plant 1, 2, and 3, mixture fertilizers plant, liquid fertilizers, ammonia and nitric acid, and others.
